The route takes you over the drier north-eastern side of Kilimanjaro and offers views of Kenya’s National Parks. On this route, climbers pass the only mountain lake in the National Park.

The waterfall, named after the village, is an immense and powerful sight that’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in Tanzania. From Arusha, the trip takes about 2 hours and just half an hour from Moshi.
