🌌 Summit Push Begins (Midnight)
We depart Kibo Hut in the stillness of night, headlamps lighting our way. This is the most mentally and physically demanding segment of the trek. The group ascends together, supporting one another through the cold and altitude.
At Gilman’s Point (18,600 ft), we witness a breathtaking sunrise over Mawenzi Peak—a moment of shared awe and accomplishment.

🏁 Reaching Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, marks the ultimate achievement of our group journey!

Uhuru Peak → Horombo Hut

• Distance: 16 km
• Hiking Time: 4–5 hours
• Zone: Heath

🌄 After photos and celebrations at the summit, we descend to Horombo Hut. The day ends with a shared dinner and time to reflect with your trekking companions.

🗓️ Day 5 – Final Descent: Horombo Hut → Marangu Gate

• Elevation: 12,250 ft → 6,046 ft
• Distance: 20 km
• Hiking Time: 5–7 hours
• Zone: Rainforest

🌳 Rainforest Trek & Celebration
Our final stretch takes us through dense, green rainforest. Spirits are high as the group makes its way to Marangu Gate. Here, you’ll receive your Kilimanjaro Summit Certificate—a symbol of shared determination and success.

🚐 A transfer vehicle awaits to return us to Moshi, where the comfort of a hot shower and soft bed awaits!
